Wedding Venues

I am based in the beautiful county of Staffordshire in the heart of the Midlands. The bordering counties of Cheshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire are all within easy reach and I am very lucky to have shot weddings at some of the most inspiring wedding venues in the region.

I've featured just a few of my favourite wedding venues below but please don’t hesitate to talk to me about your chosen wedding venue. I'm always happy to discover new and exciting locations and I have no problem with travelling further afield to capture your amazing day.

The Ashes Exclusive Country House Barn Wedding Venue

Working with couples getting married at The Ashes is always an utter delight. The venue is spectacular and offers a variety of beautiful backdrops for your wedding photographs. The ceremony barn is simply gorgeous; it’s bathed in natural light making it easy for me to capture some beautiful shots of you making your vows.

The Ashes is unique, not only can we make use of the stunning Grade II* Listed barns but we also have access to the formal lawn in front of the majestic country house. The house has so much character it never fails to inspire me and the grounds are magnificent; taking your photograph against the backdrop of the ethereal woodland pond and glistening lake, can result in some amazing shots. It’s a dream wedding venue for any photographer.

If you’re getting married at The Ashes and you’d like to work with a creative wedding photographer with a great eye for detail and a passion for getting it just right for you, then please give me a call.

Pendrell Hall Exclusive Country House Wedding Venue

I'm experienced enough not to let the weather worry me; whatever it throws at us on your wedding day, we’ll make it work and still get those incredible photographs. Pendrell Hall is one of those rare wedding venues where once you’re inside you don’t have to go outside at all; the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening wedding reception is all held inside Pendrell Hall which is brimming with gorgeous indoor photo opportunities.

The venue features fantastic Arts & Crafts fireplaces, sumptuous bay windows, an incredible oak staircase and of course, the amazing three arch colonnade, making it perfect for stunning wedding photographs, whatever the weather.

If you’re blessed with sunshine on your wedding day then Pendrell Hall has six acres of glorious grounds to explore. There are walled gardens, formal lawns, a terrace that wraps the whole way around the venue and views to die for.

I am very lucky to have shot a beautiful wedding very recently at Pendrell Hall, please visit my Gallery to see some of the images.

Goldstone Hall

Situated in Shropshire this sumptuous Georgian Manor House never fails to delight and I am fortunate to have worked with a number of amazing couples who chose Goldstone Hall as their wedding venue, please visit my gallery to view some of the images.

Goldstone Hall’s rural location, beautifully landscaped gardens and stunning interiors provide some truly unique backdrops for your wedding photographs.

As it’s also an award-winning country house hotel, the Bridal Suite is often in use on the morning of the wedding day which means that I can capture some elegant, tasteful photographs of the Bride getting ready. I love having the opportunity to get some detail shots of the wedding dress and (often incredible) wedding shoes, before the Bride puts them on. These detail shots look beautiful in your wedding album.

If you’re getting married at Goldstone Hall and you’d like to work with a talented, professional wedding photographer who has a genuine passion for capturing natural, relaxed and beautiful shots of you enjoying the best day ever, then please get in touch, I’d love to work with you.

The Upper House

Designed and built in 1845 for the heir to the famous Wedgwood Pottery, this architecturally stunning property is a magnificent location for your wedding and features some particularly lavish photographic opportunities.

The ceremony takes place in a beautiful orangery; natural light pours in making it ideal for capturing some exquisite close ups of your facial expressions during the ceremony. They can be some of the most heart-wrenching photographs!

With stunning landscaped gardens and a fabulous suite for your wedding breakfast we won’t be short of great locations both indoor and out, for your wedding photographs.

If you’re getting married at The Upper House in Barlaston and would like to work with a talented wedding photographer who’ll spend time getting to know you before the wedding and work with you on the day to create some magical images then I’d love to hear from you.
